Excellent piece, I think you presented things rather well here. I liked how he confronted his self to protect his family. Your hallucinations were well done.
I was in the service for 8 years, now I'm in the guard, while I was never sent anywhere dangerous I could have been and I had friends who were and some with PTSD. So this was a little close to home.
