TLDR version: Working now, and some odd ball stories may get posted soon.

It's been a while my friends. Especially if my notifications are any evidence.

So what in the heck has been happening?

Well, a lot. The TLDR is I am currently working a job at a local book keeping company, and prior to that I was taking a class. So that would in part explain my absence from posting stories.

Now, about those stories.

I'll start with the good news. I do have a pair of short stories currently written, though they are quite different from my usual style. Simply put, I decided to take a stab at a bit of fan fiction for Atlas Reactor. I remain a bit hesitant to post these, but I am putting the word out.

These are not the only things I have been working on ( a few larger pet projects as well), but i'm keeping details a bit light, as I don't want to jinx myself by revealing an in the works project and then having it fall to the way side.

The tricky part is that often, I find it harder to post after a dry spell, but I will try and get something out there before too long.

Wow... I really have not posted in a while.

So, I guess ill start with a quick recap of recent events. I was, and still am battling with mental health at this point. I basically got it hard kicked into high gear, and its taking time to get it to settle back down. Good news is that it has been settling down a lot, though it's not 100% ( and I doubt it will revert fully at this point). Oh well. It's not messing up things to hard now, just lurking at times.

Along with this, I had also been taking a bit of a break from short story writing, and then had some summer holidays extend it all at once. So I have kind of lost my touch a bit here, and have been trying to get back into the swing of things.

So that would be the explanation for the lack of content as of late, and I do apologize for it (it's always something, isn't it?). I do want to try and keep things updated, but I will be placing quality before quantity here.

Now, as for the here and now, things are going to get really hectic for me in a very short period of time once again. So I am at a bit of a challenge point. I am hoping to get a new story out before too long, but I will not make any guarantees. Especially since me revealing ideas tends to derail them instantly.

Now for some better news. I am once again seriously considering posting some conceptual stuff for stories ( characters and the like), and possibly posting a brain dump post. Hopefully that will tide some people over with some stuff while I get back into the swing of things with writing, as well as get through holidays where I won't be able to write much.

Origin stories are so difficult to get right.

Ok. Usually I might put this as a status, but its gonna run a bit long for it, and frankly, I would rather have this; something that sticks.

I'll cut to the chase. I'm currently dealing with a rather heavy pile of mental health related stuff right now. I don't mean this as sympathy hunting, and I don't mean this as asking for support. All I want to say is, I am struggling with my own head here, and I want to let people know that this is happening.

This really bad round is roughly a week old now, and well, I just figure that I should say that it exists, if nothing else.

1. Favorite time period: Modern day, or semi near future for writing.
2. Do I ( mercenary blade) inspire you at all: More then you might think, or I probably realize to be honest.
3. Fave sci-fi franchise: Why must you do this to me? Honestly, its really hard for me to pick one, cause there's a number of sci-fi universes I like for differing reasons. As it stands currently, I'll go with westworld.
4. Favorite food: Home made beef, turkey, pork ( aka borky) burgers on a toasted gluten free pizza bun. That, or homemade soup ( chicken or turkey) that's so thick, its practically stew.
5. Why is the rum gone: Probably cause someone in my house thought it would be a good idea to sit around drinking before we play cards.
6. Why is a raven like a writing desk: Because you hear startled crying out whenever someone walks by either one.
7. What's a challange you've had to overcome: Getting used to socializing as an aspie. Still a work in progress.
8. Bowling or minigolf: bowling.
9. What's your dream: I don't really have a plan. I guess though, my dream is to find a plan I like, and can stick too. Now, if were talking about dream for the future of the world, well, that gets really freaking political, and I don't feel like putting that here right now.
10. What's your guilty pleasure song: There's a huge list here. Guilty pleasures by brentalfloss, lego beer song, music box version of brain power, its my life ( russian version), vodka by korpiklanni, takumi by initial D, only for you by starlight, last Saskatchewan pirate by the arrogant worms ( live version), and a few others.
11. Somewhere I want to visit: Germany!
12. Favorite genre: modern fantasy, or sci-fi.

TLDR: I am taking more schooling now, and I am feeling happy about actually getting back to posting stories after more then a two month gap.

Alright back at things again.

So, I finally got stories posted again here. Sort of an odd feeling, but I am definitely glad I managed to pull it off.

So what the heck has happened in the mean time?

Well a lot actually.

I'll start with the big piece of relevant news. I have recently ( literally yesterday), started to take a sort of mini accounting course. I'll spare some details, but put simply, its weekend course that is almost guaranteed to going to eat up a decent bit of time.

So this plus my ongoing chemistry course means that May just got a whole heck of a lot more busy. So in short, if things end up quiet this month, you know why.

That's honestly about all I have for right now. No making plans or the like for me here. Just letting you all know what going on.
